Event Details

Between 1955 and 1985, the Canadian and provincial governments removed an estimated 20,000 indigenous children from their homes and placed them in the child welfare system. This moving documentary features the union of a family that has never met, after being separated for more than 50 years. A panel discussion about truth and reconciliation will follow.
