Black History Month Flag Raising 2024

When: February 2, 2024 at 11:30am – 12:00pm

Where: Town of Midland Office, on the front steps on Dominion Ave. 

Community members are invited to join staff and members of Council as well as local Simcoe County organizations to raise the flag for Black History Month. Speakers from each organization will share some words.  

Organizations in Attendance:

  • UPlift Black 
  • Parents Against Racism Simcoe County (parsc.ca)
  • Black for all Races (bfar.ca)
  • Midland Public Library
