Blood Donation Event with Canadian Blood Services Community Events

05:30 PM| North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre 527 Len Self Blvd. Midland, ON, L4R 5N6

When everyday people make a lifesaving connection, the impact is significant. Lives are changed. Lives are saved.

Cancer patients, accident victims, and people with immunodeficiency, autoimmune and neurological disorders rely on blood, platelets, and plasma donations every day.

Patients need donors like you to act. Book and keep your donation appointment. Ask your friends and family to join Canada’s Lifeline and encourage them to book an appointment to donate blood or plasma.

A small group of donors is meeting the needs of the entire country. We’re asking everyone who is eligible across Canada to join Canada’s Lifeline and donate. There’s never been a better time to commit to patients and help save lives. Will you take about an hour of your time to donate blood or plasma to help save a life?

New and returning donors are asked to book and keep their donation appointments. If you are unable to make it to your appointment, please cancel it so that someone can take your place or re-book into the following month.

Appointments are required. Same day appointments are available every day at many donor centres and community events across the country.

When you donate, you can save a life and change so many more. Your support can impact the patient, their family, community — even the entire country. On behalf of the patients who need it, we’re asking you to donate now. You won’t just make a difference, you’ll make all the difference.

Visit blood.ca, use the GiveBlood app, or call 1-888-2-DONATE (1-888-236-6283) to find and book an appointment at a donor centre near you. Often there are last minute cancellations so please continue to check online at blood.ca up until the day of the event.
