Artist, outdoorsman, icon – Tom Thomson’s life, art and mysterious death continue to fascinate Canadians. In this original musical by Shipyard Kitchen Party (creators of the musical “100 Years from Now”), the famous painter is seen through the eyes of his best friend, his mentor and the woman he loved. But did any of them really know him? Through their conflicting stories, a new portrait of Thomson comes to light.
A foot-stomping folk music score, imagery from the Art Gallery of Ontario and a funny and dramatic story that keeps you guessing until the end combine to tell the tale of a man who helped define modern Canada.

Born in Toronto to Greek parents, Pavlo has made a name for himself by offering a musical amalgam he simply calls “Mediterranean music” – a blend of Greek, flamenco, Latin, and even Balkan flavours, wrapped in contemporary pop. His music has taken him all around the world. Along the way he’s performed for royalty in the likes of King Charles and worked and toured with artists such as José Feliciano, Olivia Newton-John and The Gipsy Kings to name a few.
