Have fun outdoors exploring, learning and playing. There will be fun and interactive activities all day. Explore the trails by ski or snowshoe. Warm up by an open fire while roasting Bannock. Experience the best of winter fun by learning all about animal tracks, scats & signs. See some of our raptors & reptiles up close and learn what makes them unique, and SO MUCH MORE!

Join us for a day of board games at the museum. Staff are planning to hang out and play a round of Trivial Pursuit and would like to invite everyone to join them, play one of our other board games, bring your own or join the kids’ game table. Lots of room for hot chocolate and a casual afternoon of fun with the museum and your family!
Admission and hot chocolate are on Family Day. 11 am – 3 pm.
PS: There are rumours that there will be a cupcake fundraiser for the OSPCA here that day too!

Refresh the fundamentals of animal tracking before departing on a hike to discover the drama of animal’s lives left behind in their trails. Explore how the signs left behind, combined with natural history knowledge will tell you a wealth of information about ecosystem use and health and offers the opportunity to view wildlife interactions, even after they have left.
