On June 20, 2022, Lindsey Martin-Penny celebrated her 59th birthday. Five days before, following months of chemotherapy treatments, her oncologist told her that her cancer had spread rapidly and there was no effective treatment available. She had only months, or more likely only weeks to live. Some birthday present! Sadly, Lindsey passed away from Clear Cell Ovarian Cancer on July 21, 2022.
On June 20, 2024, we will be honouring Lindsey’s memory with an evening of music and giving. Lindsey’s Legacy Cabaret: A Birthday Gift presents A Night in Vegas, starring two former members of The Nylons (Lindsey’s favourite group), Micah Barnes and Billy Newton-Davis. Join us for a spectacular night to remember.
What happens in Vegas stays in … Midland! Think The Sands, The Riviera, The Golden Nugget, Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr.
All donations and profits from the evening go to Lindsey’s Legacy Fund For Clear Cell Ovarian Cancer Research (a fund of The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation), supporting the work of Dr. Stephanie Lheureux, an internationally recognized expert in ovarian cancer research.
